SENGAKU was first found in seedling TAMAKONGOU in Korea. SENGAKU was introduced as “tamakongou which has different TSUKE (connection between leaf and stem) and named after their mountain-TSUKE which is rarest TSUKE in all. This mountain type TSUKE is the shaper the better. In Japan, people determind and appreciate the plant from top to bottom, and big things to small things completely as you can see. Tsuke is another thing to enjoy japanese orchids besides flower and foliage.
