Large variety.
It was found in south part of Japan and selling as “AMAMI KINBOTAN.”
Plant with great variegation produce beautiful ruby roots. (not always)
wide upright leaves, new leaves come up with yellow (ghost leaves) and get green color later. Yellow parts stays on green base and it become tiger stripe.
mud brown stem, mud brown roots( become ruby roots later), crescent moon tsuke
Very popular due to large elegant leaves with clear tiger stripe but once it loose variegation quite hard to get them back.
