Foliages grow thickly from stem to even leaf tips and the appearance is magnificent.
have dark green base.
New leaves come up with cream yellow color and variegate to beautiful yellow stripe.
When leaves get old, stripe will be white from yellow and that is the difference between Kinkabuto and Takaranishiki (kinkabuto keeps yellow color throughout a year). When this stripe mutate to marginal stripe variegation, it is called Takara-fukurin which is very popular variety.
