variegated bean leaf, sometimes called as Isechabo-no-shima but this one has green roots instead of brown roots (isechabo has brown roots). Isechabo with green roots were called SEIDAI but the name was not registered so some still calls this as ISECHABO-SHIMA. Unlike many of other variegated bean leaf, this is natural mutation occurred in Wakayama prefecture at grower’s greenhouse. Stripe is dark and beautiful. Lots of mutated plants started out with tiny line of stripe. Hopefully this plant become very nice variegated bean!
